We are governed by the MARA and strongly advocate and abide by all principles outlined in the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct outlines the manner in which a migration agent conducts themselves and their business.

In order to gain and maintain registration as an Australian migration agent, we are required to satisfy a number of requirements stipulated by the governing body of the MARA. These requirements include:

  • Satisfy an Australian character clearance;
  • Undertake tertiary studies to obtain the necessary qualification in Migration Law;
  • Participate in continuing professional develop; and
  • Comply with the strict Code of Conduct.

Leigh has over 17 years of experience in the Australian immigration industry including past employment with the Department of Home Affairs, KPMG and Ernst & Young. Leigh understands the needs of larger corporate clients and the importance of effective risk management strategies to not only ensure compliance with sponsorship obligations but to protect the business from any unnecessary scrutiny or reputational damage, and ensure the correct use of the relevant sponsorship programs.
